12月9日0—24时，重庆市新增本土确诊病例240例（九龙坡区131例、南岸区27例、北碚区10例、永川区9例、渝北区7例、奉节县7例、巴南区6例、大渡口区5例、江北区5例、沙坪坝区5例、梁平区5例、万盛经开区5例、涪陵区3例、渝中区3例、巫山县3例、潼南区2例、开州区2例、长寿区1例、璧山区1例、武隆区1例、忠县1例、秀山县1例），其中，129例为此前的无症状感染者转为确诊病例。
Between 00:00 and 24:00, December 9, the following were newly reported by Chongqing:
• 240 local confirmed cases (131 in Jiulongpo District, 27 in Nan’an District, 10 in Beibei District, 9 in Yongchuan District, 7 in Yubei District, 7 in Fengjie County, 6 in Ba’nan District, 5 in Dadukou District, 5 in Jiangbei District, 5 in Shapingba District, 5 in Liangping District, 5 in Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, 3 in Fuling District, 3 in Yuzhong District, 3 in Wushan County, 2 in Tongnan District, 2 in Kaizhou District, 1 in Changshou District, 1 in Bishan District, 1 in Wulong District, 1 in Zhongxian County, and 1 in Xiushan County), including 129 identified as confirmed cases from asymptomatic cases.
新增本土无症状感染者2248例（渝中区562例、九龙坡区456例、南岸区336例、江北区323例、北碚区87例、渝北区64例、巫溪县40例、云阳县39例、永川区36例、彭水县35例、合川区33例、秀山县31例、江津区23例、梁平区20例、大足区17例、璧山区16例、万盛经开区15例、涪陵区13例、垫江县13例、忠县12例、万州区10例、巴南区10例、巫山县9例、綦江区8例、潼南区7例、荣昌区7例、武隆区4例、沙坪坝区3例、长寿区3例、南川区3例、铜梁区3例、开州区3例、酉阳县3例、大渡口区2例、丰都县1例、奉节县1例）。
• 2,248 local asymptomatic cases (562 in Yuzhong District, 456 in Jiulongpo District, 336 in Nan’an District, 323 in Jiangbei District, 87 in Beibei District, 64 in Yubei District, 40 in Wuxi County, 39 in Yunyang County, 36 in Yongchuan District, 35 in Pengshui County, 33 in Hechuan District, 31 in Xiushan County, 23 in Jiangjin District, 20 in Liangping District, 17 in Dazu District, 16 in Bishan District, 15 in Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, 13 in Fuling District, 13 in Dianjiang County, 12 in Zhongxian County, 10 in Wanzhou District, 10 in Ba’nan District, 9 in Wushan County, 8 in Qijiang District, 7 in Tongnan District, 7 in Rongchang District, 4 in Wulong District, 3 in Shapingba District, 3 in Changshou District, 3 in Nanchuan District, 3 in Tongliang District, 3 in Kaizhou District, 3 in Youyang County, 2 in Dadukou District, 1 in Fengdu County, and 1 in Fengjie County).
治愈出院本土确诊病例220例，解除本土无症状感染者医学观察5917例。截至12月9日24时，重庆市现有本土确诊病例2160例，现有本土无症状感染者56418例。

• 5,917 local asymptomatic cases of patients released from medical observation.
As of 24:00, December 9, there remained in Chongqing 2,160 local confirmed cases and 56,418 local asymptomatic cases.
12月9日0—24时，重庆市新增境外输入确诊病例6例（意大利4例、阿联酋2例），新增境外输入无症状感染者1例（新加坡）；治愈出院境外输入确诊病例3例。截至12月9日24时，重庆市现有境外输入确诊病例15例，现有境外输入无症状感染者6例。
Between 00:00 and 24:00, December 9, Chongqing newly reported 6 confirmed cases from overseas (4 from Italy and 2 from the UAE), 1 asymptomatic case from overseas (from Singapore), and 3 confirmed cases of patients from overseas cured and discharged from hospital.
As of 24:00, December 9, there remained 15 confirmed cases from overseas and 6 asymptomatic cases from overseas.
