Briefing on COVID-19 Cases in Chongqing on August 29th, 2022

8月28日0—24时，重庆市新增本土确诊病例10例，其中，璧山区1例、巴南区1例、九龙坡区1例，均在隔离管控人员中发现；北碚区2例，1例在隔离管控人员中发现、1例在管控人员中发现；沙坪坝区5例，4例在隔离管控人员中发现、1例由无症状感染者转为确诊病例。新增本土无症状感染者18例，其中，沙坪坝区1例、九龙坡区2例、渝中区2例、璧山区1例、彭水县2例，均在隔离管控人员中发现；南岸区10例，9例在隔离管控人员中发现、1例在重点人员核酸检测中发现。治愈出院本土确诊病例7例（沙坪坝区4例、九龙坡区2例、巫溪县1例）；解除本土无症状感染者医学观察5例（沙坪坝区2例、九龙坡区1例、渝北区1例、北碚区1例）。

Between 00:00 and 24:00, August 28th, the following were newly reported by Chongqing:

· 10 local confirmed cases, including 1 in Bishan District, 1 in Ba’nan District, and 1 in Jiulongpo District (all identified among people under quarantine); 2 in Beibei District (1 identified among people under quarantine, and 1 among people in areas for disease control); and 5 in Shapingba District (4 identified among people under quarantine, and 1 identified as the confirmed case from asymptomatic case);

· 18 local asymptomatic cases, including 1 in Shapingba District, 2 in Jiulongpo District, 2 in Yuzhong District, 1 in Bishan District, and 2 in Pengshui County (all identified among people under quarantine); and 10 in Nan’an District (9 identified among people under quarantine, and 1 identified among people from domestic key areas during nucleic acid test screening); 

· 7 local confirmed cases of patients cured and discharged from hospital (4 in Shapingba District, 2 in Jiulongpo District, and 1 in Wuxi County);

· 5 local asymptomatic cases of patients released from medical observation (2 in Shapingba District, 1 in Jiulongpo District, 1 in Yubei District and 1 in Beibei District).

截至8月28日24时，重庆市现有本土确诊病例124例（江津区1例、沙坪坝区77例、九龙坡区12例、璧山区5例、开州区5例、巴南区10例、南岸区2例、长寿区3例、北碚区7例、忠县1例、渝中区1例），现有本土无症状感染者126例（沙坪坝区66例、九龙坡区14例、南岸区13例、渝北区1例、北碚区5例、巴南区4例、长寿区10例、渝中区3例、大渡口区3例、璧山区3例、垫江县1例、彭水县3例）。

· 124 local confirmed cases (1 in Jiangjin District, 77 in Shapingba District, 12 in Jiulongpo District, 5 in Bishan District, 5 in Kaizhou District, 10 in Ba’nan District, 2 in Nan’an District, 3 in Changshou District, 7 in Beibei District, 1 in Zhongxian County, and 1 in Yuzhong District);

· 126 local asymptomatic cases (66 in Shapingba District, 14 in Jiulongpo District, 13 in Nan’an District, 1 in Yubei District, 5 in Beibei District, 4 in Ba’nan District, 10 in Changshou District, 3 in Yuzhong District, 3 in Dadukou District, 3 in Bishan District, 1 in Dianjiang County, and 3 in Pengshui County).

8月28日0—24时，重庆市无新增境外输入确诊病例，新增境外输入无症状感染者2例（老挝）；治愈出院境外输入确诊病例1例（老挝），解除境外输入无症状感染者医学观察1例（老挝）。

Between 00:00 and 24:00, August 28th, Chongqing newly reported zero confirmed cases and 2 asymptomatic cases from overseas (from Laos). 1 confirmed case of patient from overseas (from Laos) had been cured and discharged from hospital and 1 asymptomatic case of patient from overseas (from Laos) released from medical observation.

截至8月28日24时，重庆市现有境外输入确诊病例4例（老挝1例、新加坡2例、西班牙1例），现有境外输入无症状感染者6例（老挝3例、俄罗斯1例、西班牙1例、中国香港1例）。

As of 24:00, August 28th, there remained 4 confirmed cases from overseas (1 from Laos, 2 from Singapore, and 1 from Spain) and 6 asymptomatic cases from overseas (3 from Laos, 1 from Russia, 1 from Spain, and 1 from Hong Kong SAR) in Chongqing.
