Chongqing Starts COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shots for Foreigners
大中小From today on, foreign nationals in Chongqing can make appointment to receive the booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
I. Eligibility
· Foreign nationals (age≥18) in Chongqing who have finished the two-dose inactivated COVID-19 vaccines six or more months ago and who are well-informed, voluntary, and willing to receive the booster shot at their own costs and bear the corresponding risks;
· The eligible recipients can bring their valid ID and receive the booster shot at designated hospitals. (In principle, the booster shot is the same type as the originally received vaccine.)
· Those who have been covered by China’s medical insurance are entitled to the same treatment as that to the insured Chinese citizens. Those who have not been insured should bear the cost of RMB100 per dose on their own.
II. Vaccination Hospitals and Appointment
1. The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University
The designated vaccination window is located on the 5th floor of Building 6 of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University (No. 1 Youyi Road, Yuzhong District).

2. Chongqing Raffles Hospital
The designated vaccination window is located on the second floor of the outpatient department, south building of the Chongqing Raffles Hospital (No. 2 Huashan Middle Road, Yubei District).

III. Vaccination Process
＞1. Please bring the permanent residence ID card of the People’s Republic of China or passport with a valid residence permit; for those who are eligible to receive the vaccine free of charge, please also bring the social security card. Please ensure proper personal protection and go to the designated vaccination window at the designated hospital at the appointed time.
＞2. Before inoculation, the vaccine recipient needs to sign an informed consent form and a disclaimer and advise the health conditions truthfully to the on-site medical professionals. The staff at hospital will ask about the health status of the recipients and determine whether they are suitable for vaccination. Vaccination will then be carried out after the above conditions are met.
＞3. After vaccination, the recipient needs to stay at the facility where the vaccine is received for a minimum of 30 minutes and can leave if not feeling unwell.
＞4. If any adverse reactions appear within 14 days after vaccination, please call the foreign-related vaccination service hotline of the relevant hospitals.
自即日起，我市启动在渝外籍人士新冠疫苗加强免疫接种预约服务。
一、接种人群
根据“知情，自愿，自费、风险自担”原则，在全程接种2剂次新冠病毒灭活疫苗满6个月的18岁及以上的在渝外籍人士，可凭有效证件到定点医院进行加强免疫接种（原则上使用已接种过的原疫苗进行加强免疫）。已参加我社会保障医疗保险的外籍人士，享受与其他参保中国公民同等待遇。未参保的外籍人士，自费接种加强疫苗，费用为100元/剂。

（一）重庆医科大学附属第一医院
接种专窗设于重庆医科大学附属第一医院（渝中区友谊路1号）6号楼5层。

三、接种流程
＞1．携带中华人民共和国永久居留身份证，或者护照及有效停居留证件，享受免费接种政策的还需携带社会保障卡，做好个人防护，在预约指定时间前往指定医院外籍人士接种专窗。
＞2．在接种前，按程序签署知情同意书、免责承诺书等，并主动告知健康状况。医院问询接种者健康状况并判断是否适合接种加强疫苗。以上条件达到后方可接种。
＞3. 接种后，受种者应在接种现场留观至少30分钟，无不适方可离开。
＞4．接种后14天内如有不良反应，请拨打相关医院疫苗接种服务电话。
